Before 1980, the development of thermal insulation materials in China was very slow. Only a small number of thermal insulation materials factories could only produce a small amount of expanded perlite, expanded vermiculite, slag wool, ultra-fine glass wool, microporous calcium silicate and other products, mineral wool. There are few factories, the production capacity is less than 10,000 tons, and there are only 3 pieces of loose cotton and calcium silicate insulation materials, with an annual output of 8,000 cubic meters. The quantity and quality of the products cannot meet the requirements.
